POSTING & TOASTING

POST CREDITS premiered on Bloomberg this week, and the full episode is now live on our YouTube channel, youtube.com/@postcreditstv.

My first guest was Tefi Pessoa (@hellotefi) — who just landed on Rolling Stone's 2026 list of the 25 most influential creators, made Time's top creators of 2025 before that, and now co-hosts Love Island USA's Aftersun.

Tefi didn't start as a creator. She started as a set PA, an assistant stylist, a receptionist who talked too much on the job. Her big break was a live YouTube show she landed on her 29th birthday — and it shut down two weeks later when COVID hit. She rebuilt her entire audience from zero on TikTok, and the thing that changed everything for her wasn't a trend or a format. It was talking to people like they're actually in the room with her.

In this episode, Tefi and I get into:

Why she treats pop culture stories as a way to build empathy, not rage-bait, and why she'd rather lose views than fake outrage to get them.

How she thinks about brand partnerships. Her rule: use the product first, talk about it because you actually want to, not because someone's paying you to.

Why she's building for 50 years in this business instead of chasing a single viral moment: "I don't want to be a flash in the pan."

How her advice column at The Cut became another place people trust her voice, and why she thinks the best advice comes from having made every mistake yourself.

I developed a mid-episode obsession with the way she described her creative ethos: "I'm not the person that drives by a buffet and says 'that place looks weird, don't go in there'. I'm the person that posts a story of me in my hospital gown saying 'don't go to that buffet'."

It was the perfect way to kick off POST CREDITS: Getting inside the mind of someone building in the creator economy, taking on Hollywood in her own way, adpating to and innovating new creative processes.

WHERE I’M GOING NEXT

MARKETECTURE LIVE (September 23, Chicago)

Bloomberg Screentime (September 30 - October 1, Los Angeles)

Web Summit Lisbon (November 9-12, Lisbon)

A note on what this is all about.

I spend most of my time at the intersection of where entertainment is going and where brands and creators are trying to get ahead of it; I'm fortunate enough to have seen a few cycles. POST CREDITS is where I think out loud about the power shifts, the deals, the platform moves, the cultural signals that most people notice too late.

Here’s where I manage your expectations: I publish when I have something worth saying. That's usually once a week, sometimes twice when the news moves fast. No filler. If this lands in your inbox, it's because I think it's worth your time.

If you're a CMO, a creator, a platform leader, or someone who invests in any of the above, you're exactly who I'm writing this (and making this TV series) for.

Welcome.

Build a Holiday Creator Affiliate Program in 90 Days

Holiday planning is already in full gear, and the pressure is on for ecommerce brands to generate demand.

Creator affiliate marketing can help by connecting more of your marketing spend to measurable performance. But creators are already locking in their holiday content calendars 90 days out, and brands who wait too long lose the runway they need to build momentum before the holidays.

The 90-Day Holiday Sprint is a practical guide from Levanta that breaks down building a creator affiliate program with checkpoints at Day 30, Day 60, and Day 90, so your program is live and capturing holiday demand instead of scrambling to catch up.

Inside, you’ll find how to:

  • Establish the right products and commission structure

  • Recruit and activate creator partners

  • Use early results to optimize the program

  • Scale proven partnerships during the holidays
